The impact you’ll make

Our facility is searching for a customer-oriented Food and Beverage Manager to ensure that all Food and Beverage operations run smoothly. The Food and Beverage Manager’s responsibilities include overseeing the activities of all Food and Beverage staff, expediting customers’ orders as needed, and maintaining good working relationships with suppliers. You should also be able to identify ways to decrease the department’s operational costs.

To be successful as a Food and Beverage Manager, you should exercise effective management skills and take necessary actions to enhance staff performance. Ultimately, a top-performing Food and Beverage Manager should be able to achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that customers have a pleasant dining experience.

No matter whether a guest arrives weary from their illness or excited for a new addition to their family, you know what to do to make them feel at home. They will appreciate the prompt ad courteous service, the consistently high quality food and beverage, and the first class experience and ambience. What you’ll do

  • Managing all food and beverage staff’s work schedules.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the kitchen to determine whether proper standards of
    hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
  • Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food
    health and safety regulations.
  • Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all departmental supplies and essentials are
    adequately stocked.
  • Monitoring the department’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.
  • Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer
    service.
  • Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

What we’re looking for

  • Has experience in at least a 3 star recognized hotel in a similar role.
  • Has training (Diploma or Degree in Food Preparation/Culinary Arts)
  • Has at least 3 years’ experience.
  • Has exceptional communication skills.
  • Lives and breathes customer experience.
This role requires compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards. You may be required to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
